Judd Appatow and Michael Bay. They make entertainment rather than art but I hate being enlightened at movies. I'd rather be entertained.

I like Chespirito. Apart from directing, he was also a writer, actor, and comedian. Well, he doesn't direct or act anymore, but he says he'll always keep writing. And I always wanted to be a writer as well.

Keep in mind that I've not seen all of the movies these directors have made and also I'm really only listing directors who have made movies I like and while some I haven't seen are probably not that interesting to me because it's motly about the movie and not the director to me.

Steven Speilberg
Christopher Nolan
Peter Jackson
Andrew Stanton
Brad Bird
Robert Zemeckis
Matthew Vaughn
J.J. Abrams
Tim Burton
