Loner, Nerd, and Goth have nothing to do with one's temperament. All three are also labels.
I have no idea how to respond to the prepper statements, actually.

I did not imply they did. The comment was intended to show how the Newsbots always fall back on their preconstructed formula for what a spree killer is. Ever since Columbine, this stereotype has been what they broadcast to the public, so it comes as an expectation that whenever something of this nature happens, this profile will be brought up, whether accurate or not.
