getting haircuts

my son (3.5) is terrible if I take him for a haircut, but if Nana takes him, it is fine---she lets him squirt her in the face with they stylist's water bottle which he thinks is hilarious, and then he gets a sucker. As long as they don't try to get the clippers out. I think the first time they did that they must have touched his er with the clipper and he has NEVER forgotten it. (of course)

Probably best to get grandma to take him every time he needs a haircut and have a style where they don't need to use clippers.

that is pretty much what we stick too---I think Nana actually kind of likes taking him...it's become one of their "things"

That's wonderful and means you're not put in a distressing situation.

i HATED getting my haircut because i HATED when they used a blowdryer on my hair. it was the worst feeling ever
