Has anyone ever tried using stem cell treatment for Aspergers Disorder?

It's being tried in a trial with autistic kids. But there are anecdotal reports in this and similar articles about people having already used stem cells to cure non-verbal learning disability, which means maybe it could cure Aspergers Disorder too, if the two are actually related.
