So i have been trying to do higher studies from years
and every time i go to the university to check they give back vague reasons
Today again i decided i wanted to do teaching course for special children
I went to the distance education university and enquired
they submitted form and prospectus
i went about getting them attested and filling all the forms
and taking a day off from work
Spending loads of money in travelling
just to reach the university and being told
that the course doesnt exsist
There are prospectus available online
and everything
But the lady at the reception says that the course is not activated
It was started many years ago but not activated
so then she took me to other lady who had given me the prospectus
that lady claimed that she never told about that course

so now either i am a fool
or i dont have common sense
not to go behind senselesss universities

One would think that they would:

a) apologize
b) thank you sincerely and make the correction right away - they should be appalled you spent your money and time on something they have listed and do not provide
c) pull up the prospectus to see if there is anything else they can offer you

That is really rotten you have gone through all of this crap.

On another note, I like your poem format. I don't know if you wrote it that way intentionally, but I think it gives your post a nice "voice".

They didnt bother to apologize
No correction done either neither refunded the prospectus money

Based on my own experiences, either you are scammed or the course can't begin because not enough people have signed up. For example, some courses won't begin unless 100 people have signed up.

Hi, namaste, I'm sorry for my late reply because somehow this post was buried underneath many other posts in "View your posts". After doing some research online, I conclude that IGNOU seems respectable enough to me, so I highly doubt that you were scammed. I hope that everything is alright now.
