Do you guys think it's possible for people to have aspie-like obsession and not be autistic?

Yes, many non-autistic people have strong interests too.

Yes. Many gifted people have one or more strong interests and may have other characteristics in common as well, such as dislike of social chit-chat and being easily overwhelmed by sensory stimuli.

Sure. You have to realize that special interests are only one criterion on the checklist to be diagnosed. So, there's a lot of people with special interests who don't have autism, and probably a few people with autism who don't have special interests.

I think it's very possible.

Yes, an NT doesn't live their whole lives around socialising and socialising only. They like to do other things too, and like to have interests. I know a perfect example of an NT who is into birds and other wild life things, and he loves going bird-watching and he's always on his laptop at home looking up wildlife and uploading his pictures from his digital camera on to his laptop, and so on. Doesn't mean he is an Aspie.
