I just snagged a new Kobo e-reader along with hardcover and nightlight for a lousy $50 (someone didn't want it.)

Any opinions good or bad on Kobo in general? Books cheap and easy to come by? Even freebies?

I can always resell at small profit, but I should read more books and I think this'll help. The screen is great! (6" e-ink)

I keep saying that workplaces need a good one or two-page e-ink screen to be super easy on the eyes for an 8-hour shift!

Kobo will handle epub and pdf. Beware of pdf, since Kobo does not paginate correctly.

If you like free books go to Project Gutenberg. They have hundreds, perhaps thousands of titles out of copyright in all of the popular e-book formats including epub.

Excellent! TY.

Can't argue with getting this gadget for less than half price either... they even left a 4GB microSD in the slot!
