The test results agree with your opinion of yourself. You are at the 1st percentile for narcissism, the 17th for Machiavellianism, and the 3rd for psychopathy. That means you are below average in Machiavellianism, and unusually low in both narcissism and psychopathy.

Percentiles are something you learn about in statistics, usually. They mean the percent of the population that scored lower than you. So if you are at the 30th percentile on some test, then 30% scored lower than you and 70% scored higher.

The way the test results describe the percentile is bad; it says the percent is what percentage of people have scored higher, when it appears to actually be the way Callista described it. Worried me at first.

Narcissism - 1.1, 4%
Machiavellianism - 2.7, 46%
Psychopathy - 0.7, 1%

Some other tests have indicated me to be more narcissistic; this was slightly surprising, but entirely welcome.

On the Mach test I got 68. I think some of the questions were subject to interpretation. I believe that certain immoral things can get someone ahead in life while I do not necessarily support them, so I wasn't sure how to answer on some.

I think, too, that the creators of the test need to adjust it, or create a separate test for people who have been hoodwinked or manipulated by Psychopaths. I took the test and I kept thinking to myself that I would be an asshat to think/function in the manner that I always/normally would. I would now consider utilizing some of the behaviors (I see them as strategies) noted on the test, in an effort to enhance protection of myself (as opposed to utilizing for the purpose of doing wrong by others, of course). If that makes any sense.

So, I guess what I am trying to say, is; I answered honestly, to the best of my knowledge, ability and awareness of self, however, I would have liked to have answered differently, based on my experience of being manipulated/deceived by the Devil, himself.

My Scores:
N 0.8 -- 2%
M 0.4 --0%
P 0.4 -- 0%

Machiavellianism - 1.3, 7%
Psychopathy - 0.9, 3%

Yes, I see your point there. Statements like, "Manipulating others is a good way to get what you want," can be taken two ways. You could interpret "good" as "effective", or "good" as "worthwhile" or "moral". I agree that successful manipulation can be rather effective, but that doesn't mean I think it is either worthwhile or moral, because I want the people around me to make their own decisions and I would feel very bad if I thought I had forced them to do something they did not want to do. So how would I answer a question like that? It needs to be re-phrased. I would think something like, "I manipulate others because it is an effective way to get what I want," would be a better statement. Or, in the opposite direction, "I would not like to manipulate others, even if it was an effective way to get what I wanted."

Narcissism 1
Machiavellian 2.1
Psychopathy 1.4

I don't see how so few questions, self reported at that, could really capture these things accurately.

It won't load me test results. It just is stuck on the circle spinning thing.

I think results this low are probably correlated with poor functioning in normal primate societies:

Narcissism 0.6 1%
Narcissism is an egotistical preoccupation with self.

Machiavellianism 1.6 11%
Machiavellianism is a tendency to be manipulative and deceitful.

Psychopathy 0.6 1%
Psychopathy reflects shallow emotional responses.

^ Yours and mine are kind of what I would have expected the aspie stereotype to be, and a contributing factor in why we often aren't successful in the wild, where a stronger dose of those traits is actually favored. But clearly there is variation within the aspie population as well.
