I used to come here and it was a sea of flames and attacks. And one dared not advocate anything but hardline atheism. Now it seems to have relaxed.

More people from other parts of the forum and new Moderators started participating, so it was not just a group of PPR exclusive members. However, the Strident Atheists still exist, albeit dormant.

Also, the Fox News crowd seemeth to have grown weary of being discredited with every post, and moved on.

Most of the feuds seem to be over guns these days.

Would I be considered a Strident Atheist or just a pain in the hole?

Just because you want to prove that you are really a "conservative"--not just someone who says that he is conservative, but doesn't even watch Fox News.

I don't watch FOX News, or read the Daily Mail (the UK equivalent)... much.

Am I a conservative or not, according to you? I'll never be a Conservative - Christ, I hate those liars.

Someone used to bandy about here who would get all excited about something that he had seen on Fox News, and then use the eyeroll emoticon:  , call you a "Liberal" and accuse you of watching MSNBC (or some other news channel) if you didn't wholeheartedly share his passion.

So, I narrowed down my definitions:

Conservative = Someone who watches Fox News all day and sucks it all in.

Liberal = Absolutely everyone else in the world.

I guess I'll have start watching Fox all day in order to maintain my conservative status.

BTW, your liberal buddies all prefer that person you were talking about over me,
That makes me feel special. :D

I like the fact I can block the channels I don't like. This also prevents visitor's access to them.
It's a good thing.
