Doctor Who (new series): a planet inhabited by large, green, vaguely humanoid aliens with a calcium-based biochemistry. The exiled ruling house, the Slitheen, tried to destroy Earth at one point. In a rare attempt at nuance about an alien species, we are told that not all raxacoricofallapatorians are evil.

True story, fictional treasure. (Look, Xs are hard, all right?) (oops, just realised I skipped W, so did some cut-and-paste time travel.)

From the "Broken Earth" trilogy, N.K.Jemisen. Yumenes is the most powerful city on The Stillness, a supercontinent that seems to lie somewhere in our future. Or rather, it was the most powerful city- some extremely violent geography has just happened to it at the start of the series.

Zanak. (Doctor Who: "The Pirate Planet")

Zanak is a seemingly ordinary terrestrial planet that has been hollowed out and turned into a spacegoing superweapon/mining rig by pirates. It has the ability to materialise around another planet and crush it, extracting all its mineral wealth.

(These "Z"s are getting harder and harder to find!)

A US federal government building somewhere in the Midwest. Home to Project Skin Horse, a Black Ops division who provide social services for non-human sapients. Other organisations based there include the Department of Irradiation, the Bureau of Precambrian Defence and the Department for Jetpack Suppression. The basements contain several indigenous species, ranging from talking silverfish to sentient water.
