Recently I have long daydreaming episodes - I am spending almost all my free time on listening music and filling my head with some random thoughts. During these episodes I'm feeling just awesome.
I am wondering if daydreaming is associated with ASD? I have read that daydreaming could be associated with high stress - but currently I experience almost no stress. Could somebody relate to this?
I am also wondering if daydreaming could have negative impact on me?

It depends on whether or not it prevents you from doing your work. I definitely daydream from time to time and a lot of time it can be a good thing if it helps me come up with new ideas, etc. But if you're daydreaming a lot, obviously that'll be an issue.

I have always daydreamed while listening to music, and it does give me an awesome feeling. Some people call this kind of thing "maladaptive daydreaming", but I reject that description because the word "maladaptive" implies that it's a bad thing, whereas I have always embraced my daydreaming.

My favorite things to daydream about are my special interests. :)

I daydream a lot, even too much.

Ahw well. Like for NTs, it may just depend on personality.
