Damn, I just had me one HELL of an embarrassing morning, one which I hope doesn't end with me getting a visit from the paddy wagon.

You see, my laptop broke last week, so I went with my mother to best buy to have it serviced, and it was under a year's protection for accidents. Well, the man took a look at it, and wanted to run a check to see if it was only my screen damaged, and not the internal workings. So he hooked up the laptop to a regular monitor, and had me type in the password to enter my desktop screen. I did...and...well...

Let's just say that the desktop image that was still saved before the accident was there...a picture of Shining Armor and his sister Twilight Sparkle in a...compromising position not appropriate for a pg-rated store. I VERY quickly shut down the computer and tried to save face by sayin' Well, at least the laptop itself works; it was just the screen that was broken. but the 'damage' had already been done. Now both he and my mom probably think I'm a pervert! but at least I had the smarts to not keep dwelling on it and making it worse.

Anyways, the man said it'll be at most two weeks before I can get it back good as new. I really, REaLLY hope that the Squad doesn't do a hard target search for any and all my embarrassing files and pictures, primarily the collection of MLP erotica I have *blushes hard*. but that's CAKE compared to what I had to endure on the walk back to the car. My mom, in pure defensive mode, to keep herself from havin' a conniption, made a joke about how she'd have to change her license plates so that we don't get stopped by the cops. Damnit, what the HELL was I thinking making that desktop image as a joke?

Well, now I get to be paranoid for a whole two weeks, hoping and praying that I don't get a visit from the police over all my 'pony pornography'. And chalk up yet another reason why my mother has the right to be disappointed in me. Of all the worst things that could happen, this ranks in my top three.

Well, we'll just see what happens, won't we?

Why me? :(

well, this sure is embarrassing. it's hard to take you seriously with what you've put, but there is no way the police will come after you for having "pony porn."

I can imagine the geek squad have probably seen it at some point as well.

I would find it absolutely abhorrent and unkind for a parent to disown their child utterly for something like that.

People are human, and as a result they befall the shortcomings of being that very thing.

Specially where Rule 34 applies there in.

Yeah, i know she probably wouldn't disown me for something as petty as this. i just tend to overreact in my own mind initially. besides, she was well aware that I'm a hopeless perv decades before this incident happened.

So long as the pens were totally legal and the artists gave their full consent before drawing. ;)

The shaming, however, will go on for ages!

This is not illegal. I can understand why you are embarrassed and worried about what other people think, but I don't see anything wrong with what you have on the computer. It's totally harmless.

EDIT: I just looked up Shining Armor. He is male! I think all the ponies were female in the original version of MLP.

I have often been surprised by the number of people that actually know about rule 34.

I guess it does have a wide market... still, you know you've scraped the bottom of the barrel when you've sifted through 15 pages of some obscure show/comic/anime on 34.com.

I doubt your mom would disown you for that. If it makes you feel any better, I once told my mom about one of my fetishes and, while she was a bit bewildered at first, quickly began to accept it.

Also, I doubt that the feds will come after you for Pony Porn, as long as you don't have any pictures of the characters as children, which is illegal in the US.

Your parents will most likely feel too awkward to bring it up ever again, and the computer stuff people have probably seen much worse. This too shall pass. :D

 On your desktop as a joke, huh? Bronies.........

This reminds me of when I used to live with my old roomate who was a furry (full suit and all.) He would always say it wasn't a sexual thing but it was hard to believe that with all the anthropomorphic wolf porn prominantly displayed in his room and on his desktop.

I wouldn't be that ashamed. Everyone's a perv about something. Some fetishes are just way funnier than other.........
