No,I don't hate any animal for being what it is. I may choose to avoid it though.

I had a pet snake once.
He was cool.

I like Pythons, but I generally try to avoid the many venomous ones that appear to live under my house.

I feel neutral toward snakes. We need them to control rats & mice without having to use poisons and traps, and I'm not afraid of snakes as long as I know there's one nearby. It's startling when I open a cabinet or the hood of a car, and there's one hiding in there, but I think he's surprised more than I am. We do have poisonous snakes around the area (mainly rattlesnakes), but they're very reliable about warning you when you're in their space, and it's fairly easy to keep clear. They don't want to strike, and you really have to threaten them to get them that upset.

Other than the giant rubber snake I have, I have a real freeze dried diamond back rattle snake. I have to keep it a bit out of sight because people is scared of it.

I have never had any scary experience with snakes. So I wouldn't say I hate them. But I wouldn't want to live in an area where you could easily come across some aggressive/venomous ones. I have touched some snakes in a zoo. They seemed to be quite relaxed and were very cute.

Not really. Just the ones that have fangs with poison glands. I have corn snakes around my neighborhood but they're very very rare to find. I only found one and it was right outside my front door. Who knows how it got there. I wanted to touch it but no one would let me being they were too scared. The next door neighbor picked it up and threw it back into the woods.

I think snakes are kind of pretty. They're just fine with me, so long as they don't bite me at some point.

I got to have a snake around my neck while holding the tail and the head out to my sides so I can have a photo of it. Not sure what kind it was unless it was a Boa. It was a yellow and white snake. The snake felt waxy all over and when I got home I had to wash the wax off my neck and hands. The 70lbs snake was very gentle.

How can *anyone* hate snakes ?

Now die from venomous and excruciatingly painful bites, bigots !

I prefer not to hobknob with snakes- nor get upclose and personal with them.

But Im cool with them living in the local woods and eating rodent vermin, and even visually admiring their beauty from a distance.

I love snakes. They're like dragons. But, I am absolutely disgusted by earthworms!
