Have you as aspies ever watched any part of a college or a drama film and said to yourself "Now THATS an NT moment!" or "Gee i hope i could pull this off" or "this conversation seems awufully normal"?

If so, then tell me the name of the recording(movie, hidden camera, reality tv - whatever!) and the time of the social interaction(and if there are multuple social interactions in the recording - it would be great if you will list all of them).
You can either list the time of the interaction(American beauty, 17:04), or post the link if the part has been cut and uploaded on a site such as youtube(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yX39J_YyKbs).

Ex for a link:
Recording: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yX39J_YyKbs
Social interaction: A passionate speech.

Ex without a link:
Recording: Glengarry Glen Ross 1:18:11
Social interaction: Comforting tone/trying to comfort someone who is upset.

Blank form(copy paste):
Recording:
Social interaction

I will try to arrange all of these interactions into "Sections" of social skills, which will include tones, body languages, and all the other ways in which NTs "spice up" thier social interactions, or ways in which NTs expect us to "Spice up" our tone or movement.

You could always drop by this thread, pick up a random "social interaction" moment and then analyse it(as we aspies know to do so well!). Finished reading a book about body language? Come to this thread, and compare a recorded footage with what youve learned. Somone told you you have a monotonus tone? Watch the ending part of Glengarry Glen Ross and imitate - youve never seen such a powerful emotion control, body language and vocal depth display.

I hope that with time this thread will provice a vast knowledgebase of "Social interaction samples" for us to examine and learn.

So lets go!

I think this is a great idea. When I come across something like that on YouTube (sometimes I do) I'll post a link here.

In the meantime, this one may help.
