I remember this game. Loved it but hated the lamp level.

I loved that game back in the day. Haven't played it since I got rid of my Genesis back when I got my ps1, but it left an impression on me. Looking back, it's hard to believe I could beat the game easily, without dying. For the lamp level, I knew the exact spot to jump to for that one small platform, and it was never an issue for me.

I was pretty good at those kinds of games back then though. I tried playing Sonic 2 again when I picked up the Ultimate Genesis Collection, and I'm not nearly as good as I used to be(I'd have all the chaos emeralds by act 2 of the Casino Night Zone). That makes me wonder if I had more balls as a child than I do now. Then again, I'm used to modern games now, whereas back then, I just had a Genesis. Moreover, it's not like I had a million games for the system, so I played the games I had over and over again till I got good at them. Back then, there was no controller more comfortable for me than a Genesis controller, but I played my friend's Genesis a few years ago, and the controller feels completely alien to me now.

Anyways, Aladdin was one of my favorite Genesis titles, mostly because I was obsessed with Aladdin at the time, but also because the game is pretty good. Granted, it has been just about a decade and a half since I've played it. Still, the fact that I still remember it has to count for something.

It always froze on our system but it worked fine on the original system. I also remember that secret code to skip levels. i have the game now I got on ebay.

One of my favourite games ever! One of my friends and I loved to play this and the Talespin game.

Aladdin has always been my favourite Disney movie too.

I used to love it... My parents sold my Sega eventually when I was a kid, but I've collected a lot of the old games since that, including this one :) But damn, I used to be so much better at it :P

I got through the SNES version of Aladdin back when it was new. I think it had slightly better graphics than the one for Genesis.

I had this game for SNES once. I think it's been like 15 years since i've played it. Awesome game though.

I had the SNES version, which is actually a totally different game. Maybe not the greatest game ever, but I have a soft spot for it. The music and graphics were definitely good. Of course, it helps that the movie is my favorite from Disney.

I got the SNES version thinking it would be the same as this but it was totally different. I still liked it.
