post-metal/rock/sludge, stoner-metal/rock, drone, funeral/doom... whatever. It doesn't have to be metal but it has to be HEAVY and EPIC/MASSIVE sounding so no mellow la la la happy post-rock. Pre-2002 post-rock seems to be heavier. Some metal vocals are okay but the less the better. Also, song length should be no shorter than 8 minutes if possible. I'm more looking for the mood than a specific genre. Even classical will work if it fits.

Please no Sigur Ros. That goes in the mellow post-rock thread. I'm looking for stuff that's HEAVY. Think thunderstorms-and-icebergs-falling-into-the-sea-epic, not sparkling-waterfalls-and-rainbows-epic.
