At my lab/office desk, I use a Dell computer with Windows 7 OS. Soon enough I'll need to buy myself a laptop, Windows 8, for my flat since I've begun writing my PhD thesis - later (spring/summer) I'll be writing at my flat considerably more rather than at lab/office. I must install EndNote hardware on to-be laptop and (here's the catch), it must be compatible with my lab/office computer. From my former friends/colleagues experiences, they had some glitches with EndNote between computers.

Does anyone use EndNote? Any tips on troubleshooting compatibility between PCs? While EndNote is handy, it can be a pain managing output styles, etc. My thesis manuscript must be consistent, of course. I'll try to install exactly the same version of EndNote on my to-be laptop.
