Did anyone actually do quite well on this aspect of the Weschler IQ test when getting diagnosed but still have impaired social skills?

Way back in the 80's I had a psych assessment which included the WISC-R (I was 12)... and I had a 17 on comprehension (very high). In the same assessment they noted that I "demonstrated difficulty analyzing social situations and responding appropriately."

So... yes, although that was over 25 years ago, I was a kid at the time, and I still don't have an official ASD diagnosis.
