i wanted to smack somebody after seeing the second movie. jesus, what drivel. how can these morons spend so much money and screw up something so badly. the original was a gazillon times more interesting. even k. reeves was honest enough to say he was ashamed of being in it.

under the dome is one of my favorite books and my favorite s. king novel. cbs is making a tv series of it and it is possible to tell by the casting and the character bios that it will be terrible. i remember anticipating seeing the movie version of dean koontz's watchers. how disappointing it was. simple bizarre. why is that great novels are destroyed in adaption for the movie screen?
