I have heard that people with ASD are tend to have Alexithymia. I also think I have it but still not sure and want some opinion.

I can feel many emotion like anger, depression, seriousness, stress or guilt but the problem is how to express them. When I want to express my emotion with someone like my mother, I start talking with her, and all emotion in my head disappear (maybe depression or annoyance). I become a little happy and forget what I want to tell. It is very suck. Foe example, when someone bullys me, I become angry. But when I try to counter them, I forget all my anger and don't know how to react. When someone is serious or depress because of some problems (maybe from me) , I talk to them with no seriousness and maybe with some happiness. I have tried to have close relation with many people, but it always fails because of this.

Hi there :)

Not sure what to say about what you describe... but when someone asks me why I am angry and I reply "I'm not angry" ( I really believe that too) and they respond that I am absolutely "bristling" and there is no way I am not angry... it usually baffles me. Or when I do feel angry and then I find myself crying instead... very confusing stuff.

The only time I seem to correctly gauge my emotions is when they are in extremes. Like rage, despair, and terror.

Don't know if that is what you are asking about or not. Sorry I am not more help.
