What sixth sense are you talking about?

The "sixth sense" is generally accepted as "ESP" or extra sensory perception. Aspies tend to have this though not like mind reading or telepathy...more like intuitive knowledge of particular subjects not to be confused with knowledge gained by research.

I call BS on that.

Cites, please. That means to legitimate scientific journals, not to the usual hogwash.

Your "BS" stamp only confirms that you dont have Aspergers.

That's hard to believe. Are you saying that if you have Aspergers, you must believe in magic and/or mysticism?

Quote:
I have looked over your post history trying to understand how a fellow Aspie could possibly not enjoy the photo, only to find that not only are you not Aspie, but you have 165 pages of posting over 1000 posts of lies and worse, trolling..just one ugly comment after another...I for one find it offensive that you come to WP messing with people who seek real support from like minded people. I want to add that in your case you should try seeking help to find out why nobody wants you arond in your little community because Aspergers is not the answer. You have a good day.

If you can't attack the message, attack the messenger?

I haven't been diagnosed and do not know if I am an Aspie or not, regardless of your assertions. Five or six years ago, someone who's job involves working with Autistic children thought there was enough signs to ask me if I had ever been diagnosed with Autism, but that is certainly not a diagnosis.

I don't know where you get nonsense about me not being welcome in my community. Perhaps you have me confused with someone else.

As for ESP, it is still BS.

Any magical thinking is total BS. People who believe in this are probably on the schizophrenia spectrum and don't have asperger's. peace out.

bryanro, your personal attacks throughout this thread are not acceptable and break the WP rules bolded below. If they continue, the thread will be locked.

Since your predominate response to members' querying the value or veracity of the claims made in the images you've been posting is one of attack, maybe you should consider not posting them - or provide the supporting evidence and note that, without this evidence, much of what's been posted thus far is idle speculation: hardly suitable material to help promote Autism Awareness, surely?

WP rules wrote:
Conduct
-----------
The following activities are unacceptable on WrongPlanet:

1. Posting offensive language, comments, video, or images.
Unacceptable content includes swearing; racist, sexist, homophobic language; behavior intended to provoke or belittle other members; violent or sexually demeaning content; sexual fetish; and discussion of excretory function. Posting graphic images or videos of people or animals being harmed is prohibited.

2. Personal attacks.
This includes insinuation, ridicule and personal insults, regardless of whether direct or indirect. Attacking an opinion, belief or philosophy is acceptable, but attacking the person making the comments is not.

I must admit that I'm not the most sensitive and tend to be pretty much say/write what I am thinking even when I should have just kept silent.

There are several issues that tend to get a reaction from me, often without realizing how the reaction will be interpreted. One example concerns speculation about whether or not some third person is Autistic. This violation of their privacy really isn't any different from gossip. In some countries, such speculation might be legally actionable as a violation of their privacy.

I often take many things far too literally and am often confused by things which should not have been intended as strictly literal.

In any event, my comments are usually not meant personally and I apologize to anyone I may have offended. When they are meant personally, they are more likely to be a question or suggestion, not an attack.

I like some of these pictures, but I'm against diagnosing celebrities.
