My son has had two psychological assements. Both assessments say he is quite gifted. In grade 1 or 2 his test age equilvent was 17 years.

good for him. I hope he gets opportunities to do fun and beneficial things with his intelligence.

That's more much more that just "gifted", that's profoundly gifted. You should check out the Davidson Institute, if you live in the US.
