Hmm, not beaten any games since the old ZX spectrum we had when I was a kid, lol...oh, apart from Chamber of Secrets, but that was easy. It isn't lack of patience, but rather I tend to swing so easily from game to game. I am currently determined to get all the way through FFviii. I got a long way before when I played it, and have recently aquired it again. I am afraid I do tend to be the sort to throw the controller across the room when I lose in battle too often

I liked Dragon Quest VIII, beats the hell out of some FF games.

Heck, FFIV gets boring after a while. Mind you, I think Cecil's cool as a paladin.

I think the characters in VIII pwn all others...

....aaaaaand you'll get bored of it. If you don't, and actually seriously start getting into it, a little advice: try levelling up your GFs and getting them abilities. Not only that, but experiment with Junctioning magic to various stats.

Oh, and another tip? Some GFs can only be drawn from certain bosses, so try using 'Draw' on bosses, particularly the winged creature on top of the communication tower in Dollet.
