Now I am starting this thread because I have gotten a bit addicted to Sabaton and their Rammentein cover, Feuer Frei. I also will mention nightcore'ed metal, even though it is silly to think of. Just talk about your favorites. Also please mention if you are able to sing any of these songs (for some reason I sing Feuer Frei pretty good, and that's not my native language!). Tell us about bands we have not heard of too, with all the 'pig squealing' it is good to get a refreshing new style of metal.

Personally, I like Sabaton, what do you like?

If you're looking for something without heavy screaming Alice in Chains' most recent album and single are both good choices.
It's doom metal, very haunting and well, doomy

I've tried singing Iron Maiden, I think I was hitting the right notes and everything, but my voice doesn't have the right tone, it's too soft.

Alice in Chains are more grunge related than doom metal, but whatever flicks your switch. I'm not picky when it comes to metal, i love all the decent sub-genres from death to black and even the much maligned sub-genres of power and doom, but I literally loathe anything core related except for a few bands.

Hey thanks for the suggestion! Metallica is always a good classic, St. Anger, Ride the Lightning, Bleeding Me, and my favorite "passover song" Creeping Death ( :lol:

). There is a lot of good Bands in your list too!
