Does anyone else here like David Bowie? My favorite songs by him are "Conversation Piece", "Let's Dance", and "As the World Falls Down". I don't mind the song "Under Pressure" where he sings with Freddie Merucry either.

I've only heard "Let's dance" a few times. I happen to like that song, though.

Yea, I'm a big bowie fan too. My favourites are the 'Ziggy Stardust' and 'Aladdin Sane' albums. I haven't heard his new one yet, though from what i've heard it's pretty good.

I like his Berlin period best, but the new album has been growing on me.

I was obsessed with him when I was a teenager. My favorite album is Hunky Dory, but Heroes is my favorite song of all time.

The V&A museum in London is having the David Bowie exhibition right now. I have to go see it before it ends in August.

Bowie is the second greatest rock star ever. Although he drops to third if you don't count Lennon and McCartney as the same person.

I shall now demonstrate, in great detail. Because I am an Aspie who is currently specially interested in David Bowie and is right now listening to Joe The Lion.

I love David Bowie. I have to boast that I actually met him and Iman one day a long long time ago. He is not only an awesome musician but a really really nice guy.

Bowie is an important person in the development of popular music. The punk people in England, as well as Darby Crash in California, were influenced by him. That's just one example.

I was about to start a thread on this! Bowie is my current obsession, especially Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust. Started to teach myself guitar about a month ago and can now play Rock and Roll Suicide, Quicksand, Changes, Fill Your Heart and Five Years!! MEGA excited and am playing them for several hours a day... :p

Hah, I had 'Under Pressure' on repeat today, though today was more of a Queen-obsessive day for once.

David Bowie has been one of my special interests ever since I was a little kid and first saw Labyrinth. My mom is a fan of his music, so I was exposed to it quite early on.

What's your favourite album? I'm listening to Hunky Dory on repeat atm- I love love love Quicksand and Fill Your Heart...and Changes and Life on Mars. Can't listen to Andy Warhol though, the introduction hurts my ears. My favourite ever Bowie song is Rock and Roll Suicide.
