I indeed love music of this genre.

Music Therapy is important to me. When I'm feeling scattered or off-center, it seems to reset my brain waves to a much more desirable state.

Big fan of ambient dreamy music.

It's relaxing but not my cup of tea. I am into hardcore rap and Linkin Park. I like to raise up the volume to the max and jam to that s**t. My brain cells don't mind the loud noise and sometime I can feel them dancing to that s**t.

I think Sigur Ros is fantastic!

What about Loreena McKennitt, the Cocteau Twins or Dead Can Dance? I'm not sure if they are exactly what you're looking for, according to Wiki they are ambient artists.

I second that. Perfect music when I need to calm down.

Most people but the band under post rock, which pretty much is my favorite genre. Some other bands like that.

Mogwai

Explosions in the Sky

This Will Destroy You (weird band name, sounds so metal)

I really need to get some more post-rock. I'm a big fan of shoegazing and ambient music, but I do like some spacier electronic ambient as well.

That first video totally reminds me of this song I go in a trance, that type of ambient music is used alot in the
"Silent Hill " game series
