From my (fairly significant) experience of people with problematic or unusual mental states, I can say I wholeheartedly agree. Even with Aspergers, I actually have a strong mix of symptoms/behaviours which do not specifically fit the mold perfectly. Some areas branching and abundant, going beyond the the normal AS somatype and others not there at all.
