And the author died. Why such a coincidence?

Hollywood, by Charles Bukowski.

Fictionalized account of Bukowski writing the movie script for the movie, Bar Fly, where his literary alter ego, Henry Chinaski, writes a movie script, working with the film industries denizens whose weirdness is seen by their sycophants as genius. Plenty of Bukowski's crude humor!

Absence Of The Hero, by Charles Bukowski.

One of my Christmas gifts. Collection of short stories and essays by the late, great Charles Bukowski.

Good as Gold by Josephe Heller

Book I bought many years ago and did not even start reading. SO I got to it now through holydays.

I tried again. I really did. I just can’t stand Jane Austen. I managed three chapters today but gave up because life’s too short for me to care about the social lives of fictitious characters, or even remember their names. Austen always has far too many superfluous characters.

I am reading Animal Farm, a fictional classical book written by a man of the name George Orwell.

I'm feeling now as if I'll accompany an essay when I'm finished since Orwell is pushing marxist propaganda heavily throughout the book.

It's like I said classical literature and it is well written.

Plot:
Animals, like us aspies, at a farm, finally realize something that wasnt understood before: rebellion against humans would mean prosperity and the end of servitude to man.

This short and *cough*red*cough* novel is stimulating and well written. If you liked 1984, or Upton Sinclair's The Jungle, or even The Grapes of Wrath, then this short novel is for us to read!
