Kolyma Tales by Varlam Shalamov.

It's a series of short stories so I'm picking up a few per day.

Decided to go on a China Miéville roll and moved on to Embassytown - as a non-native speaker I love his language and enjoy his intricate worlds/stories.

Junky, by William Burroughs.

New edition of Burroughs' autobiographical account of his early days as a drug addict and dealer, but now without the stuff edited out for the sake of polite society.
