Yeah, it is really great in many ways. I'm having a hard time getting caught in new fantasy sagas now that I know a lot of tropes from the genre, but the malazaan book of the fallen felt very fresh and diverse to me. Really good universe and sense of narration, with very different tomes (and there is 10 of them haha).

Another interesting book I read not so long ago (and my first John le Carré's book, rip for him) :

The book of changes-I Ching and wow it is sooo symbolic. I have attempted to read this before and apparently i was just reading the text without understanding one bit. I have just started actually comprehending what i read.

My first was The Spy Who Came in from the Cold. I think I read it once in middle school, and again in high school.
I can't really remember much of it, though.
I own Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy (and the DVD!) but haven't read it yet...not sure if I have any other books of his?

I really liked some of Kazuo Ishiguoro's novels (Never Let Me Go, Remains of the Day), so I'm really excited to start reading his new novel, Klara and the Sun.

Um. I'd love to discuss this book I read today but I don't want to give spoilers.

I'm quite unsettled by the ending.
