Kasey looks a lot like my cat, Peter, and seems to have the same personality.

I used to have a rat. He would escape his cage at night and join me in bed. :)

that is pretty cool :)

I had two rats..Nutty and Agent....one hairless, one a feeder rat. both have passed on...but they were so smart and such. people really overlook rats because of the "eeww" factor..they really are very smart and companionable. :) (I might have made that word up.)

i found a picture of my old dog, alice!

that would be moi next to her and that doll house was my "laboratory". all creativity sparked from that evil pink thing.

Yeah, I could put him on my shoulder and he'd groom the hair on the back of my head and neck. :)

This is Wellstone; he is a five-year old tabby. He was born feral and rescued by my brother-in-law; I took him after it became clear that my niece and nephew were too rough with him. He's fairly quiet and doesn't like to be touched too much, wary of strangers but affectionate towards those he knows, and a little on the chunky side (when he crouches down, he looks like a turkey in a fur coat). I don't think I could have found an animal that reminded me so much of myself. By the way, he is named for the late Sen. Paul Wellstone of Minnesota, an progressive icon whose career was cut short by a plane crash.
