Out of these three planets, which would you prefer to live in?

1) A humid planet that is overgrown by thick rain-forests and mangroves.

2) A hot, dry planet that is dominated by a sandy desert. Oasis' do exist however.

3) A cold planet with snowy pine forests (taigas) and arctic tundras.

After some time, your answers will be documented.

Those all sound pretty awful. Is there a rainy, misty, wooded planet? Ha!

I'd take 3, although I'd prefer something a bit more temperate and above freezing.

Cold planet.

Winter creature.

Queen of Antarctica.

I like seasons. But of those three options, 3 sounds least bad.

None.
1) I like plants, but the describtion and pictures I get into my mind sound overloading.
2) As a child I liked being in sand and counting the sand-particles on my fingers and let the sand "flow" through my hands in a form of pure interaction with the sand-particles.
3) As I child I was hypo-sensitive to cold, but now I am hyper-sensitive to cold. Though the picture in my head does not overload as option 2) does not overload.
But I like to be in my room with my routines and don't want to change into another environment.

I guess I'd take the thick rain forests and mangrove. If it rained here in Seattle 365 days/year I'd be as happy as a clam.

I will need some more information before I can answer.

Are there houses with electricity and heating/cooling on this planet? What type of animals exist on this planet? Is water abundant on this planet?

If there aren't houses with electricity than I would choose the humid planet. I don't think I would survive long on a snowy planet or a hot dry planet without heating/cooling and shelter.

The existing animal life is an important subject to consider. If the snowy planet is dominated by polar bears it probably wouldn't make a great home. Same with the others. The desert planet could be overrun with snakes, scorpions and tarantulas. The humid rain-forest planet could have an overabundance of tigers, snakes and creatures that would love to eat me. Do I get to bring a weapon with me to this planet to defend myself?

I would assume that the rain-forest planet receives adequate rainfall throughout the year but what about the others? You mentioned that the desert planet has oasis'. Do these exist year-round or are they seasonal? If water is an issue then I would choose the snowy planet.

Overall, I think the humid rain-forest would offer the most opportunity for survival. It would offer the best opportunity to survive temperature wise and allow for the production of farming and livestock.

Earth, please!

I'll take rainforests, deserts, altiplanos, glaciers, tundras, alpine meadows and all the rest. I have long wanted to visit New Zealand where they pack a lot of these in a fairly tight area. But I like temperate regions with hot summers.

If I can't have Earth in all its wild and thrilling diversity, I will go with

4) A dry season/rainy season hilly grass, surfable beach and mountain planet. Think California.

5) The Loire Valley Planet. I'll have a chateau and vineyards, please!

Cold planet, definitely. I can never ski enough and I guess I'm approximately as tough as autistics get.

4) None of the above.

(By the way ... living in a planet implies a subterranean environment. Is that what you intended?)

I'd prefer to live on a planet that has a temperate environment, similar to Michigan or Ireland in the Autumn or Spring.

Probably number 1. It always seems to be at a reasonable temperature, and with the rain the rainforests provide, I'll always have plenty of water. :D
