New trailer for the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug

I came across this new trailer fro the second part of "The Hobbit" trilogy:

What do you think? I've heard that some Tolkien fans have been disappointed by The Hobbit so far. Mostly because The Hobbit was a much more light-hearted book than Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson tried to make it as epic as Lord of the Rings. Indeed, the Hobbit was initially intended to be a children's book.

No replies. Nobody even has any opinions about Tauriel, the new elf girl that Peter Jackson added to the story?

I think that Tauriel is a female version of Legolas, and i'm looking forward to seeing what takes place during the battle with Smaug.
