I actually like Spandau Ballet but the lyrics to "I'll Fly For You" make me cringe.

My mum played his album frequently while I was growing up because she thinks his music is just great, but it really is quite terrible ( LOL !)

In his defence though, he was a mentally insane raving homeless guy - and his songs were like a musical version of hobo ranting.
So really, they're surprisingly good all things considered.
