Reverse Bell Curve in Attracting Women

I did the OkCupid "my best face" thingie, and it confirmed what I already knew from real life: I do quite well with women above 30, above average with women 18-22, and below average with women 23-30 who aren't either aspie or Asian girls. What is the main difference in these age groups in what they are looking for?

One would think the difference in what they are attracted to is based on personality, but no, "my best face" showed it just based on photos. I take slight comfort--and embarrassment-- in the fact that Justin Bieber fans have a similar distribution.

Do another 'best face' thingie and you'll get a completely different curve.

It's very flawed.

What is the "Best Face" thingie? Do you have girls vote on you, and the girls give basic demographic information?

I have done different ones with consistent results - between different regions even.

Pictures of me at 23 overwhelmingly attract girls in the 18-22 range and to a lesser extent over 31. The most recent photos have the same overall score and extremely strong in 31+ and fairly strong 18-22 but weak in 23-30, just like the younger photos.

A lot of the time they probably just choose one super-quick without looking closely at the photo.

I think it's the most accurate way to rate yourself on the 10 scale because its normed against others. So according to this, if women choose others 50% of the time, then you're a "5." If 90%, you're a "9," etc.

You should use a lot of photos and do it in different regions and average the results.

For example, I am least attractive in the Midwest and most attractive on the West Coast, especially Hawaii

Women look at different things than men do.
They want to know about you.
Therefore the situation or context of your picture is highly important.
Women often appreciate security, esp. financial security. Esp. in the marrying age...
Which background looks more rich? Looks more like you have personal access to financial stability?
They may not be looking at you at all.*

Don't be mad, it's hardwired into them, men have their own 'less than noble' attractions toward women.

On the third hand...
Freshly post-pubescent women aren't really thinking much with their brains, so sexy pix may rate higher.
Post (socially) prime marrying aged women may have good jobs (stability) and may be revisiting their sexuality, so again sexy pix may rate higher.
Meaning you're probably looking more sexy than successful in the pix you posted
