A special version of Solitaire to be bundled with "office" programs in which the deck is often missing one or more cards. :D

How about a bit of dye on the roll that seeps into the last few layers? You could do this yourself by folding the cardboard in, and applying magic marker. I usually notice without that, but one of the bigwigs on the Manhattan project used to find his office by dragging his fingernails along the hall, and counting doors.

That's standard on the rolls of paper in cash registers (and on adding machines too). A strip of color runs through the last some number of inches so the sales clerk knows that its about run out - so they know to change it - so - the customers will...always get that useless paper receipt they will throw away anyway!

Implant chips for different medical conditions that will help patients who receive them have better lives.

A control booth. Most things I can't control give me anxiety and I am a control freak that wants to control the weather and control how things go without it hurting other people's preferences.

A sort of non lethal gun, that is actually non lethal and harmless and can only stun a person.

Then those should be given to cops instead of real guns, since they cannot seem to be trusted with those. It would at least make them a bit less terrifying.

That's what the Taser is supposed to be, but it gets used like a power club more often than as a gun. There is a new shooter out now that works by wrapping a person with plastic strip(s) to immobilize them.

For a "control room" try virtual reality.

universal meaning affordable to many that presently can't afford them [hundreds of dollars rather than thousands] and with interchangeable parts.

To fight bedbugs. A fake human. Basically a human sized warm 150 pound blood sausage that lies in your bed and attracts all of the bedbugs away from you and towards it (while you temporarily sleep on the couch). But its "blood" is spiked with...poison? birth control chemicals...LSD?... or...YES... something that turns them into cannibals. They then go back into the walls and proceed to kill each other. And viola' ….no more bedbugs. Then the company that leases the fake sausage person to you, just comes back to collect it, and rents it out to the next client.

Lol, maybe they can develop something that shoots a protective bubble around a person. It stops the suspect and/or victim doing much and its also baton/kicking/punching/chokehold proof. But probably safer than both the taser and whatever tape gun that other poster was talking about( I am concerned something like that could cause too much psychological distress in people with some mental conditions or phobias).

That said not sure how realistic it is....

I figured that, but it is not what I pictured when I read it initially...
