I'm calling it now. They'll name him George William Windsor

I'm hoping that they'll call him something more in line with contemporary society, such as Raekwaan Raheem Windsor. That way, in another 60 or so years, the UK will be led by His Royal Highness King Raekwaan I.

Then again something Frank Zappa-esque would be fitting as well, such as Mutant Abortion Clinician Windsor.

:lmao:
Sunburst Piecrust Hovercraft Paella Mountbatten-Windsor?
"Prince Sunburst of Cambridge" would also have a handy Michael Jackson -like ring to it.

I know I run the risk of appearing extremely interested, despite stating my "meh" interest level earlier, but... just putting on my reporter's hat here to announce that as of about 5 minutes ago, it was reported that he'll be called "George Alexander Louis".

I wonder if Prince William is a Seinfeld fan?
The character George Kastanza was played by the actor Jason Alexander ...coincidence?

Probably not, considering all the King Georges through history and that QEII's names are Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.
Can't really use Alexandra for a boy, so Alexander seems a reasonable substitute - or this, according to the BBC:

I'm guessing "David" won't make the cut. Lol....running and ducking....

The queen's uncle, Edward VIII, was named David. Well, he had other names, of course, but in the family he was known as David.

The reason David wasn't on the short list, if it wasn't for that idiot uncle, Elizabeth would have never been Queen. I've read the Queen Mother held David responsible for her husband's early death.

That American must have been one hell of a lay....

Edward VIII was a Nazi supporter, met Hitler personally and was quite impressed with him.

He was also an alcoholic.

And his wife, Wallis, cheated on him.

If the immediate family can move on there seems little point in picking holes and pointing fingers after all this time.

Yes, it would be nice if we could all move on.
