I made this music from fruity loops studio. It is my first ambient music. It really puts me asleep easily.

Enjoy this peaceful music

That was great! I really liked it.

I used to have a Fruity Loops demo that I messed around with for a while. But I prefer to work with analog. Digital just doesn't click with me. I'd rather fumble around with cassette tapes, found sounds, or just see what weird noises I can get from a guitar.

I have a 64 Silvertone with lipstick pickups. Its amazing what you can do with different electronic devices held up to the pickups while using different effects pedals.

Keep making music, any way you can. From banging on trash cans, to the latest technology. Self expression is the ultimate goal of music.

I used to make this type of music too in fl studio for a while, here's one I made a few months ago:

It's easy as hell to make, but very time consuming.

Cool alien noise background. What plugins did you use to make this sound track?

Ugh, can't remember, but most plugins I use are freeware ones, my favorites atm are EasyQ, Lookahead Limiter, D2, grANALizer, ReaEQ, Fnequalizer and Lightweight Compressor.

I get 99% of them from here http://bedroomproducersblog.com/

I also always use freeware vst synths to start from, I rarely sample anything, I just focus on the processing part rather than what I started with.

I actually want to ask you the same thing you've asked me about the plugins.

How did you make that drone track in the OP?

How do you process stuff, eq stuff ect?

Just curious.

I used YSD Delay, Fruity Delay, and Edison recorder to make the industrial noise samples. For the ambient tone I just pick pads that I want, and I bring the release to long amount of time and bring the attack down just a little bit.

Here is the link for YSD Delay. It is free. www.yuroun-sound.net.

No eq used in the track?

I do almost nothing besides eqing the audio personally.

Yeah I like to mess around with ambient music, though I rarely record it (really ought to do something about that). I also prefer analog sounds, so I'm currently putting all my effort into designing and building my own analog synthesisers. once I have got those sorted out I'm definitely going to make more ambient stuff.

I'm also currently working out a design for a generative sequencer to control my analog synths :)
