I am proud of myself, personally, because it is hard enough as an Aspie to graduate college. That takes guts!

I'm a college graduate now, as I've said before. The fact that it took me eight years says something about me.
I think that is awesome and I don't care how long it took you, the fact that you were able to do it is great, especially knowing a bit of your background. I was never able to finish college.

Thanks. Even as an Aspie, it doesn't matter what happened to me, it's about me being there in the end! :D

I released a solo pop album called "Quartermoon" about two years ago which no one knew about. It took me a solid year to create it but it went nowhere. Oh well. I did release my first book to Amazon last week so I guess that's an accomplishment.

Hey Red can you post your album on youtube and give us the link?

On a side note I don't really have that many proud moments. I don't even know if I could even call them accomplishments since none of them were planned, they just sort of just happened. I saved a girl from drowning in a river, won an international multiplayer FPS tournament, rescued some animals. That's about all I can think of. ok I take it back, I did plan on quiting smoking and I accomplished that. It just took 20 years
I think that saving a drowning girl from a river is a HUGE accomplishment. I will bet that she would say it was your greatest ever. I worked as a lifeguard for years and even as a lake and river guard. That is not an easy task especially if you have not been trained how to do it. Rescuing animals is awesome too. What is FPS?

You are absolutely spot on with that! So many people, NT's alike. never understand that and it keeps them from moving on. But I have so much hope for you because you have great strength of character.

Not an achievement as such but something I am proud of is fulfilling a dream of backpacking or 'travelling'.

I am obsessed with countries, cultures, maps etc and have spent my life dreaming of travelling through other countries seeing all this fascinating stuff. never thought I would actually do it as I would struggle to cope at times but in my mid 20's I had enough of dreaming and started to get frustrated that I may spend my life as a dreamer, look a loan out, got on a plane and spent 3 months on my own backpacking around south east Asia.

met some cool people, saw some incredible stuff and in those 3 months I probably learned more about myself that at any other time in my life.

Maybe this^ will change soon as my proudest though as I recently signed up to work part time for the Samaritans. Something I have wanted to do for years but never quite had the courage, got my first days training in 2 weeks time!

Well, I don't know if this compares to anyone here. There's not much extraordinary about me, aside from my "savant skill", which I did not pursue using because I got scared of the whole arts industry. But anyway, here's my biggest accomplishment. This is why I isolate myself and force myself not to do anything but; a lot of VERY hard work went into this.

Warning, major showoff ahead...

This is after 3 years of university, with basically shutting myself in and studying, often for days in a row and only taking food breaks. I'll be going into my 4th year taking 5 courses for the first time in my college career and am not sure how well I'll be able to keep those grades while living with my partner (which means doing some chores) and while trying to get possible lab experiences in order to have academic references for grad school. I am looking for some advice/tips/strategies as to how other students can take a full courseload while holding down a job/living independently. I'm fast-tracking because I would like to get a job that I would be able to support myself with ASAP; I don't want to burden anyone financially after having done the standard 4 years of university (I'll only have my thesis to do next year, anyway, and then I'll be done). I also really, really want to keep a straight-A record, considering that the grad school program I'll be applying to is super-competitive and only takes in 5-7 students each year. I have no clue how other students can take 5 courses and work at the same time (and get amazing grades). If anyone has any strategies, please do PM me, as I have no one to ask about decent advice regarding this matter (my disability counsellors keep telling me to stop comparing myself to others, but that's not helpful because I want to get over whatever limitations are stopping me from being able to do this).
