I have some hypersensitivities, the worst being sound, smell, and touch. Right now, I am sick with a stomach thing. The smell of food is nauseating and I can't get anywhere in my house that I cannot smell it. The TV is playing loudly (to me, probably not to my NT little sister) and I have already made her turn it down twice. The clothes washer is on and my neighbors are having a party and my mother is washing dishes, it's almost unbearable. I wont let anyone get close enough to touch me and I have on bearable clothing, so touch is covered (for now). My head just feels like it is going to explode and I can't just tell everyone to stop what they are doing, I live in a house full of NT (immediate) family. Are there any tricks to dealing with hypersensitivities when sick? What do you all do? :(

I have been known to hide in a closet with headphones playing calming music.
