The late 1970s, preferably in Southern England, somewhere close to London, or in London.

i think on reflection now is the best time- some many advances in science, technology and the proliferation of state of the art forms of preservation- dvds and such. on the supremely negative side- our earth is dying because of human neglect, species being wiped out. god thinik i'm contradicting myself now :D :(

For me, it's a split between two decades. I would have liked to have been in existance, between 1956 and 1967. That's when the Routemasters were having their time in the sun. I also like the vintage TV sets from that Era, as well, along with the Alumunium Christmas Trees. I also like the music from that time, as well. I also dig the fashions and TV shows from that time-frame, as well. :)

Which decades do the rest of you fancy?

i'd have to say the same period myself..i've often wish i was born about 20 or so years earlier, so i could experience all that, but i guess i was born in the year i was for a reason..now i have the damn 80's i have to call a memory! (hehe jk..i love the 80's but the 60's scene would've been groovy man)

i would say the 1970's
that was when punk rock area became popular...
but it existed before that...
in the mid 17 hundreds, there was this punk group (i cant remember the name, but i do know that rock wasn't a part, but they were still punk) who would wear spiky hair and eat spiders.
in the 18 hundreds there was a guy who would get himself invited to really rich suck up kinda people's fancy shmancy ball dances, and sit on a couch for 2 hours, then go take a dump in the fancy pansy fireplace, which, if his turds got fire, would end up being put out by his urin...
punk rock is fun, but that guy is WEIRD, he had a bad temper
(as you can tell i am obsessed with punk rock)
