I can do this for hours. My record might be somewhere around 8 hours straight. It just never gets old! :D

I am basically the same.

Same here. Is it also the same for you for things like TV shows or videos?

How long were the songs that you were listening to and what songs were they?

My longest record for any song is probably “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake, which lasts about 10 minutes. I had a sort of special interest in this song, and it was all I listened to for weeks. I would listen to it any chance I got, and I would often think about it when I wasn’t listening to it. I just really enjoyed it for some reason.

Other songs may not last more than a few minutes, but I keep on replaying them.

I have a strong tendency to do this as well. Most recently the song I get stuck on is "46&2" by Tool (been my favorite song for a while now).

Yes - I listen to songs over and over. Usually till I get sick of them, but when I come back to them eventually, it's comforting because I know the words and am familiar with the sounds.

In college (which was ages ago) I would go through cycles of ordering the same dinner everyday - or have foods that I'd eat on certain days.

And when I have conflicts with someone, especially if it's through email, I've been known to read one email over and over for an entire day.

If I like a song, I can listen to it non-stop for many days. By if I'm in ADHD mood, I can listen to each song only once.

Yep! I love doing this. I have a few songs that I love and listen to a lot. Some of them even relate to my special interests. I wonder if it can be considered a stim, kind of like visual stimming except with sound?

I don't only have this with songs. I can listen to whole albums until i am absolutely sick and tired of it. That can sometimes take up to a year!

Funny enough, the last album i was that obsessed with was Genesis' 'Selling England By The Pound'

I always do, and sometimes it's the same three. Right now I've been addicted to Kainé Salvation, Emil Sacrifice, and Emil's arranged track. All from NieR!

They're always so comforting to listen too and help me whenever I feel bad.

Yes. I do enjoy listening to songs repeatedly for hours. This has been one of my repetitive behaviors since I was a child.

Can identify with the since childhood ,repetitive music. ... single selections ..End of the Line by Traveling Wiburys for almost ten years since a tragic event. On repeat in my vehicle whenever,i drove anywhere. Then as a pre-teen it would be constant repeat of some of. the Byrds music, And some simon and Garfunkel music from sixties usually just one song ..And about 5 got focused ( obsessed)on the "Blue Danube " older classical music. It seems unfixable .
From my experience so far. :nerdy: but honestly not sure if needs fixing, but maybe a fix in and of itself. :ninja:

I watched the songs Not One Of us from the Lion King II, Make a Man out Of You From Mulan and I Won't Say I'm In Love from Hercules twice in a row every time. Those are classics.
