I actually heard one of these experts telling that global warming could cause temperaturesto rise, fall, or stay the same! A tough difficult to argue with that one is it not?

I claim that the real problem facing us is that a giant mutant star goat is en route our star system and going to eat it all. The aetherial shock wave from its approach is what is causing all our touubles including a general feeling of being ill at ease. let's see the climate change people deny that!

the real doomsday will be in 2035, when an asteroid with a big smile on its body comes our way:

One time, and quite some time ago, a group of my mother's coworkers - Catholics all convinced her that she should go to this prophetic meeting. I went along and saw how an asteriod was going to smash up Earth pretty well, but that those who would survive would be taken out by G-d's own "Ball of Retribution" that would shortly follow.

Another time the world ended and I didn't notice.

That doesn't make any sense according to Catholic dogma. They must be heretics or something.

ADDENDUM: That's probably unfair. I don't know enough to say that. However they beliefs are heretical.

I'm Catholic, and this is new to me... I believe in infallibility, but that only really pertains to the Pope. I've not heard of any Vatican-sanctioned modern day prophets, tho... I also believe in the rapture, but last time I checked there was no asteroid involved in that...

Were these people Roman Catholic?

yes, they were some miracle obsessed cult of Catholics in SoCal. their miracles weren't very good. Apocylaptic.

i doubt it was all sanctioned by the Pope.
