I've learned to tune it out, for the most part--I work part-time at Walmart, so I don't have much of a choice.

Usually, I tell myself "once they leave, I don't have to put up with it anymore, but the parents do." :lol:

However, yes, I know what you are all saying--if I'm feeling particularly tired, it does start to get to me. Then, I'm more tired and irritable myself when I get home.

What actually annoys me more are loud and annoying ADULTS--little kids I can more easily forgive.

Sometimes, if one of the crying kids is in my line, I'll say "It's not so bad. You get to go home after this--I have to stay here for the next three hours." Not only does that usually give the parents a good laugh, the child will often quiet down and look at me intently.

Not sure if I'll ever have kids myself, but they seem to like me for some reason...odd.
