The difference with me is that I don't actually see myself wanting a social life to begin with. All it would do is bring me more human interaction. Yuck.

Same here. I can't draw well, but I do get jealous of people who can.

I have never been jealous. I don't know what people mean when they say they feel jealous. I can't imagine what it feels like. The closest I get to it is a sort of wistfulness, a sort of vague longing - but only for a person who has moved on, never for things.

It has a good side in that I just don't waste energy as I often see others doing. The other side is that I can't be arsed to fight for things, hence no real competitiveness which is, Darwinistically, what makes humans get ahead. On a personal level I know that people I've been romantically involved with have not felt 'loved' because I couldn't get jealous and possessive about them.

I used to constantly get jealous of my NT friends' sex lives. They had girlfriends as early as when they were 13 years old, dated a lot, lost their virginity in high school, and had a lot of sex partner throughout college. I, on the other hand, was still a virgin at 22, and never had a girlfriend. However, all that jealousy disappeared in an instant the day I saw an escort. Once she took my virginity, I realized that although sex felt good, it wasn't anything great. Just sex, no more no less.

I do kind of feel like SteveK said though, where maybe I get jealous of other people's talents, but I wouldn't even call it jealous. If I see someone can draw really well, I just feel a little sad and think "Aw darn, I wish I could do that."

I guess naming is subjective. I really feel as you. BTW AS people ARE known for being zealous.(Spelling IS correct, it only LOOKS like jealous!) if only I could get some of that back!

I don't really feel jealous of them, I just sometimes wish I would put forth more effort to get that myself.

I don't really understand jealousy, so therefore I do not think I have ever been jealous before.
