Mutt.

Oh, you wanted more specific than that? Ok: Scottish, English, and Irish, though my mom's side tried to hide that (simply not DONE, you know, to admit you're Irish in snobby upwardly-mobile society) and Russian, German, and Polish on my dad's side (from that spot in I think Belarus where the boundaries change(d) daily? Wake up in the morning, drink your coffee, find out from your neighbor what nationality you are today... "Are we Polish or Russian today?").

I do have a great-great grandfather (or something like that) who was a hero in a mine disaster in Montana... he died pulling other guys out after he'd already made it to the surface.

My poor kids are gonna be really confused. My son's all my stuff plus an extra helping of English, and my daughter will be all mine, plus Hatian; my husband's parents emigrated with their respective mothers when they were teenagers. :)

I'm a fellow obscenely whitie, almost full fledged Russian with a blip of German and a pinch of Polish.

HOW? You tell me.
I suppose this ALSO explains why I'm a little.. 'unique.'

50% German
25% Polish
12% Prussian
6% Native American
6% Irish
1% English (roughly...maybe a little more or a little less - I know that I had ancestors on the Mayflower, but after that it's hard to trace until a few generations ago.)
