Some translation of the song in the video.

♫ I don't know what it is but something is wrong What could that be :?:

I prefer to walk alone, no one around me, To dream in myself.

I don't feel good here where I have to live, Between all those people.

Now let me go after the seagulls, and my vague wishes ♫

A song from the dutch comedian Chris Verlaan.
With a ironic way he sings about his Asperger-mind.
He also invites neurotypicals to become autistic 8)

I hope the lyrics will resonate with at least a few other adults on the spectrum who 'pass' as neurotypical

This is brilliant! :P

For me, during my reluctance to make an appointment for an evaluation to find out where it was that I indeed stood on the spectrum, as I struggled to accept my diagnosis whilst being in full denial, sunmerged in shame and defeat (I was extremely stubborn and furiously insulted when multiple psychologists/psychiatrists/family members (apparently it runs in my family) and other doctors would continually insist that I seek a specialist to seek what they expected, confirming that I was indeed autistic, during the hieght of the pandemic..

Being diagnosed as an adult, the lack of resources and support that I needed wasn't there..

I was in a very dark place; in addition, coping with the internal warfare waging within myself, in regards to finally confronting and seeking treatment after a lifetime of absolute denial and suffering to acknowledge and accept the fact that I was indeed also a transsexual.

During this time, I found this incredible song by a relatively underrated mostly unknown artist (My youtube algorithms helpful for once); recommended an artist named "Sevdaliza", the name of the song being "Habibi"...

The lyrics resonated with me till I got to tears and still get today, I get goosebumps listening to this song and watching the music video.

[Verse 1]
Habibi, habibi
No one understands me
Habibi, habibi
The caring left
Habibi, habibi
No one understands me
Habibi, habibi
The caring left

[Verse 2]
Habibi, habibi
As long as I sing
Habibi, habibi
I'll let the birds in
Habibi, habibi
No one understands me
Habibi, habibi
The caring left
Habibi, habibi
As long as I sing
Habibi, habibi
I'll let the birds in

[Verse 3]
Habibi, habibi
No one understands me
Habibi, habibi
The caring left
Habibi, habibi
As long as I sing
Habibi, habibi
I'll let the birds in
