This is rather embarrassing to admit but I am sure many of my fellow homo-sapiens can empathize with me, at least I hope so, when I admit that i feel as if i have gone through puberty and the growing process a little later than most people. I do not know whether this has anything to do with aspergers and the biological by-products associated with the condition. I doubt it but I would be interested to hear what you guys thought and whether or not you are the same? I remember people growing facial hair and reaching their full height when they were about 15-16, however I am not 21 and still feel as if I am growing facial hair and still growing in size. I am slightly ashamed to admit such a thing but I was wandering if anyone else felt they were slightly slow in this respect and whether a connection between this and aspergers has ever been highlighted or whether it is impossible? Thank you guys. Sorry, probably a stupid post.

No, it's not a stupid post. Anyway, slow puberty is not an Asperger's thing. If anything, I'm a little ahead of schedule.

I don't know of any correlation between onset of puberty and Asperger's, but there is a lot of variation in what you are talking about in the general population. Late bloomers are common in my family, myself being one of them. Both my grandpa and uncle kept growing until their early twenties, and I was always the shortest or second shortest in my class until I was 14 or 15. It wasn't until I was 18 that I reached my current height (or close to it). I also couldn't grow a beard until I was 20 or 21, and it's still filling in slightly even though I'm 26. I'm also a complete baby face, which people used to make fun of me for but is starting to become a blessing. I'm back at college for a second degree and this time I fit right in
