So did a lot (haha) of you go out tonight, be sociable, dress up and mingle?

Or did you just hang out at the house and chill-lax, perhaps, like myself, hung out at work longer because everyone left early?

BTW, around here it's "Día de la canción criolla" (imagine having something like "Country Music Day", maybe) in an attempt to keep down Halloween, which was "imported" more or less when I was a child...

Hung a noose and a muskrat skull from my ceiling fan.
Listened to a record I got last week from Goodwill, William Castle's Ghost Story.
Now i'm drinking a Newcastle Werewolf blood red ale and listening to Coast to Coast AM.
Wanted to take a walk to the old cemetery in the woods, but it rained all day.

It rained steadily all day. The eight-year-old decided he didn't want to go trick-or-treating ... he has ASD and was never wild about the concept anyway. He'll not lack for candy, because it seems nobody else wanted to go out either and now we're stuck with tons of the stuff.

Watched the Peanuts special. Ate curry.

Btw, Christians here celebrate the 31 October as "The day of all Saints" - Halloween customs (wearing masks..etc) only been recently imported from the West for this day.

Those customs were always been tradition for another day, the 4th of December, on the "Saint Burbara memorial", it has the same customs of Halloween (masks, treats...etc) : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eid_il-Burbara

Class then McDonalds then home. XD Although did help someone out with PC issues at McDonalds, for some reason that made my day, and I always have an amazing Halloween, no matter what I'm doing for some odd reason.

Put on my black pajamas, started a fire out back, uncorked some wine, got out the fiddle, and celebrated Samhain.

I stayed home and handed out treats. I also watched the Peanuts special with my mother while eating caramel apples.

I would have built a fire,but it rained earlier.I was lazy and just lit a candle instead.I did put out extra bread for the crows earlier in the day.The only treats I handed out.
