if the drugs have not caused a slowdown in cancer growth I will die soon. My family needs me. I am planning an autistic community inside an alresdy existing one so that when I am gone my son will be alright. that will take time. I need time and the tests will let me know if I probably have enough time.

Waiting's the hardest part.

How much time do you need?

I took the tests on Wednesday. Got a call a bit ago saying they will not have results until Monday. If anyone wants to talk about ANYTHING I would love that. Keep in mind, my mind is mush. Thank you to anyone praying for me or posting to me. Anything. Heck, go ahead and small talk and I'll appreciate it [never thought I would say THAT, lol]

I'm 6 episodes in to series one of game of thrones, and am already hoping we get to see dragons. You seen it? Any dragons? (No other spoilers please.)

This is the 4th TV series I've watched recently. The others are the sopranos, the wire, and just finished breaking bad - I've loved all of them.

doofy's got a good idea; do you have a TV series to catch up on? What kind do you like? We could probably recommend some... not me, because I don't watch TV, but I bet others could.

That's hard to bear. Maybe the best way to distract yourself is to keep working on what matters the most to you -- the autistic community? Do you have a lot of community building work left that you can throw yourself into? What is it going to be like? Can you post about your plans here? Or is there already a thread?

I pray for good results.

My advice is to keep yourself busy. I'm not sure how much energy you have at this time but here's some suggestions to keep you busy:

a craft (make a blanket or make a photo album, etc)
go to a movie
Go mini golfing
go out to eat
Paint your nails
Start a blog
Read a book
Decorate for Thanksgiving
Bake cookies or a cake
Research a good recipe to make this weekend
And lastly, do laundry or clean the house (I do these when I'm bored)

You know that you are admired here and that you have support here.

My test scores say my empathy is weak. But I feel a strong sense of that. Maybe there is something to the theory that people on the spectrum relating to other people on the spectrum like NT's do with each other.
